Even though I don’t have a photo (for religious reasons), it has been delightful writing people like we’re radio personalities with a lot of depth.
I’m in prison because of a mental illness induced by a car accident that went undiagnosed and untreated resulting in severe harm to myself and my late fiancé.
While incarcerated I converted to Islam, then began to rectify my life.
I came close to death, but lived to overcome my demons and I hope to inspire others to do the same.
My current routine is working as a clerk, contributing articles to my unit’s newspaper, and taking self-help classes.
Some of my goals include: establishing healthy habits, studying the Quran, becoming trilingual (English, Spanish and Arabic), gaining artistic skills (hand lettering and water coloring), and developing my writing career.

To mature its a necessity to develop genuine relationships in which I can ride with someone through ups and downs.
My intention is to connect with three types of people: those local in Arizona so I can re-enter the community with healthy allies, those who are goal oriented so we can hold each other to be vulnerable and put themselves out there so they can truly be known.
