Hello World!!
I’m Anthony Hernandez Jr. (40) Puerto Rican, born and raised in Chicago, Illinois’s. That’s right… . Go Cubs!!
A little about myself, during this time of my incarceration I’ve realized that everything in life is either a lesson or a blessing. I’m proud of how I went about everything with strength, grace, confidence, and being well-able to handle life’s challenges and obstacles. While waking up everyday with positivity and the ability to get up from any knock down, staying true to myself, and never letting anyone bring me down to their level. However, I’m just looking for those whom are humble and true to who they are.
There’s no need to impress, no acts, just someone honest in their own skin. Despite everything I haven’t given up on myself. I’m just that type of individual that will go that extra mile and who doesn’t really hesitate to speak his mind.
My pastime activities consist of studying, working out, drawing, reading, and listening to various types of music such as rap, Chicago house music, freestyle, reggaetón, salsa, bachata etc…
So far during my incarceration I’ve completed many of my academic classes and a horticulture course in pursue of my Associates in Liberal Studies. I’m also currently awaiting to start my culinary course. In addition, I have a degree in HVAC and I had invested in studying Spanish to become fluent upon my release. So, I’m making the most of the time I have while staying ambitious so I can make my life as fulfilling as possible.
